I Have No Idea What This Blog Is For (A 4:20 AM Update)

It’s 4:20 AM on Sunday and I’m listening to the “Ryan” station that Apple Music curated as I try to write this post.

it’s been a while

It’s been a while since I posted. There were several times I tried to post earlier in the year, but didn’t. There were times I had an entire post written out that I didn’t publish. This post is to update my readers here on the blog as to what’s been going on and what’s ahead for the site.

building in the dark

I continue to create other .coms and projects that are gaining an audience, and I’m enjoying every minute of it. Three years ago I decided to try blogging and it was one of the best decisions I ever made.
It’s been difficult, though. It’s like getting a really complicated software program and trying to figure it out blindfolded. I literally didn’t know the difference between a URL and a Meta description field. I once pasted a whole paragraph into the URL bar. Yikes, that was a long web address.

But it’s been fun. I recommend Bluehost to get started and I’m not even an affiliate.

what are we doing here?

I’ve also wondered about the direction of this website. I’ve considered creating a YouTube channel. I’ve considered a podcast. I’ve considered promoting affiliate products. I’ve considered creating a newsletter.

the funniest guy you’ve probably never heard of

I’ve considered using this website to promote myself as a stand-up for any opportunities out there. All right, so I’m not technically a stand-up, but I am a guy who writes jokes sometimes.

For example,

Ever been asked to hold a woman’s purse? There’s a technique: Hold it by the straps like a grocery bag, or cradle it on your arm like you’re the Queen Mother. I treat it like a football in the final seconds of the Super Bowl–clutching onto it for dear life, just praying it doesn’t clash with my outfit.

The author, barefoot, holds his white blind cane up to his mouth like a stand-up comedy microphone, striking an awkward pose as if looking for a stage.
Practicing my material… still looking for an open mic!

the best SEO in California

I’ve considered promoting myself as an expert at search engine optimization, or SEO expert, to see if it ranks. (If you found this page by searching for that, welcome. It worked.)

the most eligible bachelor in America

I’ve considered dedicating this website to finding a girlfriend and future wife and relating all content to that. Have I mentioned that I’m single?

for sale?

I’ve had offers to sell the website, which is nice. I’m certainly open to offers for the other sites, but for now, I’m holding onto this one.

it’s times like these

I’ve wondered whether I want to continue blogging about political issues in a time like this. Not sure. I believe it’s important to push back in times when our future is in doubt and we seem to be going in the wrong direction, but I also don’t want to fan any flames.

In other words, I have no idea what this website is going to be for.

In summary, this has been a great year, despite the ongoing challenges of life. I continue to be optimistic about the future and look forward to the evolution of this blog.

Most of all, I appreciate you, the reader.

Paying premium prices for so called elite proxies that randomly drop connections and kill your campaigns Consider moving to stable personal lines with instant replacement options so when one address underperforms you swap it in seconds and keep every process online https://tinyurl.com/businessproxy
